Butter Chicken with Curry or Marinate Masala Blend and Garam Masala Blend


Butter Chicken

Curry Masala Blend or Marinate Masala Blend

Along with Garam Masala Blend

Cooking time: 40-45 minutes

Wash and clean 3-4 large chicken breast, cut into bite size pieces. Add 1tsp plain yogurt (or coconut milk/ olive oil) and 1tsp curry masala to the chicken pieces. Let it marinate for 1 hour. 

Crush 2-3 large onions, ginger about 1 inch, and garlic (6-7 pieces) per taste. puree in food processor.

Make puree of 4-5 Roma tomatoes and set aside.

In a large wok-type pan put generous amount of olive oil (or butter) to coat bottom, leave on medium heat.

Add puree onion and all along with 1 Tsp of Curry Masala Blend or Marinate Masala Blend (add more spice blend if want a little spicier)

 

Cook this mix for 5-6 minutes. Add more olive oil (butter) if it is looking dry.

Add tomato puree and cook for another 5 minutes.

 

Add chicken pieces to the masala mix and coat well

Add water to top of pan, make sure chicken is cover in water.

Add more salt if desired and 1tsp of Garam Masala Blend.

 

Cook on medium heat, uncovered, for at least 20-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked. Add more water if it decreases while cooking if you desire more sauce in the dish
